On Monday 29 May 2023, at the second annual HANWASH Social at the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne, Australia, Fritz G Pierre-Louis, Assistant Governor District 7020, received the honour of being appointed as the new Steering Committee Chair effective from July 1st.

Fritz has been a longstanding member of HANWASH, respected for his leadership as the Chair of the Haiti Liaison Subcommittee since the founding of HANWASH.

This marks an important milestone in our efforts to support Haitian Rotarian leadership of HANWASH. This appointment supports HANWASH’s objective to elevate local voices and to inspire Haitian leadership in the country’s long-term development. We are delighted by this new chapter ahead!
